Shaun Brown

Shaun Brown graduated from the University of Arizona in 2009 with a Master of Science in Land Use and Community Planning. For the past 15 years, Shaun has been the District Planning for Tucson Unified School District (TUSD). His role was to provide geographical data using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to report and track school-age population, ethnicity, birth cohort, building permit, and other demographics for TUSD leadership to make discussions on improving educational needs for the K-12 population. Also, Shaun maintained and reported all of the TUSD building inventors to the School Facilities Oversight Board (SFOB) Annual Reporting for the past 14 years. In his free time, Shaun is active as one of the board Alumni for the University of Arizona Strategic Alternative Learning Techniques (SALT), an Alumni panelist for the College of Humanities at the University of Arizona, and a member of the Citizen Advisory Committee for Pima County to develop a well-balanced regional transportation plan the meets the needs of the community.

Shaun transitioned in 2023 into a new role as the School Facilities Assessor for the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA). His passion is to help anyone be successful in their career and life.
