Rules of the SCHOOL FACILITIES OVERSIGHT BOARD and DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION, DIVISION OF SCHOOL FACILITIES are at A.A.C. 7. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 41-1021.02(D), the Division may conduct a rulemaking even if the rulemaking is not included on the annual regulatory agenda.
The following information is provided as required by A.R.S. § 41-1021.02:
- Notice of Docket Opening: We anticipate a rulemaking package in 2025 based on the implementation of EO 2023-15: Establishing a Stakeholder Council to Update the Minimum Adequacy Guidelines for School Facilities.
- Notice of Proposed Rulemaking: To Be Determined
- Federal funds for proposed rulemaking: None
- Review of existing rules: Five Year Review report of A.A.C. Title 7, Chapters 1 & 6 (due on or before December 31, 2025).
- Notice of Final Rulemaking: None
- Rulemakings terminated in 2024: None
- Privatization option or nontraditional regulatory approach considered: None
The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) School Facilities Division (SFD) is not engaging in informal or formal rulemaking activities, except where approved by the Governor’s Office, in compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) § 41-1039.
