Architectural Fee Guidelines

These guidelines are to be used to determine the Lump Sum Architectural & Engineering (A&E) fees for "Basic Services" for all School Facilities Division (SFD) projects, including both New Construction and Deficiency Correction projects.

Board Packet Schedule for 2021

School Facilities Board

The following schedule has been established for school districts to submit their project paperwork/applications to their SFB Liaison based upon the dates of the upcoming Board meetings. If a school district submits the project paperwork/application by the submittal deadline, the SFB Liaison will review the submission and determine if it is complete and may be included on the agenda for the next meeting. However, if any additional information is needed, the project may need to be put on a future agenda.  If a school district misses a deadline, the project may be considered for a future meeting

Building Renewal Grant Change Order Form

A school district may request an amendment to the grant if a vendor or contractor submitted a change request to the district for a change of completion date, a change of cost of the Phase Grant, or both.

Building Renewal Grant: Assessment Phase Grant

Procedure

This Phase Grant is specifically intended for securing funds to complete a professional Assessment in order for a school district to determine if an actual BRG deficiency exists. 

Note: This Phase Grant does not include funding for costs associated with Design, Procurement Services, Construction Lite or Construction services; districts should apply separately for these Phase Grants if funds are needed or consult with their SFD Liaison for additional technical guidance.

Building Renewal Grant: Construction Phase Grant

Procedure
The School District will be prompted to apply for this Phase Grant after an assessment has been completed, a scope of work has been developed, a design has been prepared, the design has been reviewed by SFD staff, procurement has been completed, and now funding for construction is needed.
